At OYS/Ocean Marine Systems we have taken delivery of our new Fanuc EDM machine, a machine that can produce almost any part with a single cut wire.
This impressive new tool can cut any conductive material ranging from aluminium to copper, to graphite with an electrical spark. This new technology will allow us to achieve extreme accuracy when producing incredibly delicate parts at very high cutting speeds.
This is the second major machinery investment this year after the recent installation of the new HAAS machining centre in January.
