At OYS/Ocean Marine Systems we are celebrating 20 years of supplying engineered solutions to the superyacht industry. To mark the occasion, we have launched new branding and introduced a new product range to complement our existing offerings.
In 1998 OYS started to design, manufacture and supply, standing rigging to the largest superyachts around the world. Alongside the rigging there was a custom range of hydraulic sail control cylinders. In response to customer feedback, in 2009 the Thruster range was launched offering swing, tunnel and retracting units to not only sailing but our motorboat customers too.
Today OYS/Ocean Marine Systems continues to design and manufacture rigging, thrusters and hydraulics to the all sectors of the superyacht industry. At METS 2017, we announced our new range of hydraulic power and control equipment including 350 Bar aluminium stainless and ultra-light composite cylinders. This brand-new range is designed to appeal to all boats from 20m up to 100m. The full range and specifications are available to download here from our new website.
2018 has seen a busy start to the year will lots of activity in the factory, the purchase of new equipment and new employees joining our team that will help us meet increasing customer demand.
We wonder what the next 20 years will bring, and how the company will have evolved by the time OYS/Ocean Marine Systems is 40. Watch this space. We have ambition.
