OYS/Ocean Marine Systems is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Designer, Charlotte Richardson.
Charlotte brings a wealth of knowledge, having studied Automotive Engineering at Oxford Brookes, during that time she gained work experience at McLaren. Since graduating she broadened her experience further working within design teams with marine companies also operating in the large yacht and superyacht industry.
“I have hit the ground running and really enjoy the variety of work,” comments Charlotte. “I enjoyed spending a couple of days working on the shop floor where I had the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the range of products and processes here. Back at my desk I’ve been altering existing designs and starting on drawings for a new range launching later in the year.”
Ian Crowden, Technical Director comments, “Charlotte is a great asset to the design office here. She is embracing her role and fitting in well with the dynamic here in the company.”
